Vic Kids Eat Well

Join the Vic Kids Eat Well movement and get support to introduce healthier food and drink options. 

Vic Kids Eat Well is a state-wide program developed by Cancer Council and Nutrition Australia. The program aims to refresh your fridge, switch up the snacks, change up the menu and put ‘fun’ into fundraising. Sporting Clubs in Greater Bendigo and Central Goldfields can get support from Bendigo Community Health Services – Health Promotion Officer and Healthy Kids Advisor – Central Goldfields (respectively) who have dedicated time and resources to implement healthy choices in your club. 

What is involved?

  • Increase availability and access to healthy food & drink options
  • Increase promotion and where possibly the sale of healthy food & drink options
  • Increase knowledge of healthy food & drink options
  • Exploring other ways your club can promote healthy food and drink options


Why? 

Healthy food and drink options are better for members performance, recovery and overall health. Join other sporting clubs across Bendigo Central Goldfields and Victoria in making healthier choices today!

Incentives

Funding and rewards up to $1,000 in value can be provided to support your club to provide healthier options.
