Active Ageing

Sports Focus is driving the growth and implementation of increasing physical activity levels of community members within the townships of Boort, Wedderburn, Pyramid Hill and Central goldfields. By carrying out this work within these communities it will enhance the physical activity levels among older adults while they get to socialize with others, along with creating more opportunities for involvement in sport.

The overall outcomes of this work will help to increase the awareness and access to sports that can be adapted to suit those aged 65 or older that still allows for physical activities to be fun and exciting for older adults.
