About Sports Focus
Sports Focus is a Regional Sports Assembly that was established in 1983 by Sport & Recreation Victoria to provide better support to sports clubs in central Victoria.
We are a non-profit organisation which aims to support and empower sporting clubs to be more safe, inclusive and welcoming spaces for the broader community to enjoy sport and active recreation.
We support the central Victorian community to become physically active through the community sport sector. Our region includes City of Greater Bendigo, Loddon Shire, Campaspe Shire, Central Goldfields Shire, Mount Alexander Shire, and Macedon Ranges Shire.
Through our extensive network of partners that include, but aren’t limited to; State Government, Local Government Authorities, Health Services, Education and Sport, we aim to engage and enable communities to shape their future health and wellbeing.
Physically active, connected, inclusive and resilient communities.
To engage and enable communities to shape their future health and wellbeing through physical activity.
