Sports Trainer Re-accreditation Course

Sports Trainer accreditation is valid for 3 years and should be updated before the expiry date. The SMA re-accreditation procedure involves demonstrating that you are competent and provides the opportunity to update you skills and knowledge with the latest techniques and information.

Sports Trainers have a six-month grace period after the expiry date of their accreditation, to re-accredit. Failure to re-accredit by this time will require full attendance at the relevant course. To attend the re-accreditation course, participants must have either a Level 1 Sports Trainer or Level 2 Sports Trainer accreditation in addition to a current First Aid qualification and current CPR qualification.

Visit the Sports Medicine Australia website to read more detail on the course content and prerequisites.
