The 2007 RetireInvest Sports Artworks Showcase will give 6 local artists, supported by Joy Tatt, the opportunity to display their work which portrays sport and recreation in our local community. The exhibition will be on display from Tuesday 9 October at the following venues:

• Dudley House (Bendigo Art Society Exhibition) from Thursday 11 October - Sunday 21 October;

• Boardwalk Restaurant & Cafe from Monday 22 October - Sunday 4 November.

As part of the Sports Artwork Showcase you will have an opportunity to take part in a series of sports art workshops with local artist/tutor, Joy Tatt. Novice and intermediate workshops have been designed to give newcomers a taste of artwork creativity. Participants are encouraged to book workshops in advanced to secure their place. There will be a maximum of 10 places per session.

Workshop session times as follows:

Workshop 1 Drawing (1hr)	9.30am-10.30am	Novice/Intermediate	9-15years
Workshop 2 Drawing (1hr)	10.30am-11.30am	Novice/Intermediate	15years+
Workshop 3 Painting (2hr)	12noon-2.00pm	Novice/Intermediate	9-15years
Workshop 4 Painting (2hr)	2.00pm-4.00pm	Novice/Intermediate	15years+
