EVENT CHARITY

As with every public hospital in Victoria, Bendigo Health is funded by the Victorian Government.

Through the generosity of individual, corporate and philanthropic donors Bendigo Health's fundraising unit is able to develop and fund extra health services that improve the lives of patients and their families. Without this extra funding, many patient services, purchases of new medical equipment and nursing scholarships would not be possible.

'Sanctuary for Kids' is a project designed to improve, develop and upgrade paediatric services through Bendigo Health.

This project will allow Bendigo Health to provide a child friendly environment for kids visiting hospital, it will also take the scariness out of a visit to hospital.

The other side of the project is the improvement in facilities, medical equipment and opportunities for nursing training that hasn't existed before. Through community support we can supply a health service that our kids deserve.
